Chapter Nineteen
The room was toasty when Ren got back. Two glasses and a corkscrew had been waiting at the foot of the stairs for her. Thoughtful of Annabella; it hadnât crossed Renâs mind. She laughed at herself. What was she planning to do, let the PM swig from a bottle?
She placed them down by the bed, put the heat-proof gloves back on, and then carefully she lifted the hot water from the fire and carried it into the bathroom.
âStill awake?â she asked a very relaxed-looking Andrea. Hair piled up on top of her head, she had sunk down so that the water came up to her neck, but her knees popped out like two mountain peaks.
âHmm, where did you go?â she asked, sleepily opening her eyes.
âI had an errand to run.â Ren moved to the other end of the bath and held up the bucket. âNeed a top up?â
âOnly if you are getting back in here with me.â She smiled, a dangerous smile that let Ren know in no uncertain terms what she wanted from the rest of this night.
âPull your feet up.â Ren chuckled. She poured the water slowly and gave Andi the chance to swish the newly heated water around with her feet before adding more.
âMm, that is perfect, and just in time.â Andi sighed contentedly, closing her eyes again.

âSo, I thought that we should maybe celebrate thisâ¦change in our relationship?â She held the bottle up in the air and waved it slightly back and forth.
Andreaâs eyes opened wide and she sat up, water dripping off of her. âOh god, what did you have to do to get that? And what am I going to have to do to share it?â She smirked as Ren laughed out loudly and put the two glasses down on the corner of the bath.
âWell,â she started while she climbed back into the bath, sitting comfortably back behind Andrea. âSurprisingly, I didnât have to do anything. Apparently, Lady Annabella is a romantic, and she thinks we should enjoy what little time we all might have,â she explained, uncorking the bottle and placing it on the side of the bath to breathe.
Andrea turned her head to the side to look at Ren. âHow did I look at you every day and not see you?â she asked.
âDifferent world, different rules. It was my job to be inconspicuous,â Ren said, acknowledging in her own mind what Andrea was saying to her. She kissed her, languidly, and allowed her hands to slowly explore the expanse of skin a bath together offered.
âHm,â Andrea hummed. âI love that we can do this.â She progressed the kiss. Reaching for Renâs hands, she moved them to cover her breasts, enjoying the
